That was great

Really great man. I love the animation and the mix of satire and slapstick. The voicework between the two was also really well acted. I think the only real beef I had with it was the audio. Sound effects were all fine, but the voice audio was rather poor. Not speaking directly into the microphone would probably help.

Other than the minor gripe though, that was pretty awsome and look forward to more. Just made my favorites.

Not bad

I guess it was kind of a neat message, and I liked the shadow sketches and animation. It really does need sound added though. Half a flash is sound, and without it, it really makes it bad. It also needs an end. Don't loop flashes.

Other than that, it wasn't too bad.

Well...

I liked it I suppose. I'm not exactly sure why, but I did. I enjoyed your drawings, although your animation needs some serious work. The jumbled art you just pasted onto their faces for their mouth movements seriously started to get on my nerves after awhile.

The voice work obviously needs work, considering they were... well, for the most part all the same. Ironicly though, I think that's the only thing that made it humorous for me.

Obviously improvements are needed, but I still liked it for some bizarre reason.

Not bad

For the visuals and style alone, this is a good submission pass. Short, and not particularly interesting (nor do we really know what's going on exactly).

It's really bad you didn't include any sound though. Sound is half of a flash, and the outcome can be very different as a result, for better or worse.

Hm, well

That was slightly painful to watch. I was getting some of the humor, and it almost cracked a smile durring his singing. Other than that most of needs a little improvement. Your fill-in-the-blank for no animation worked ok, but the mood and setting wasn't quite right.

I'd also easily say that half of what makes a good flash is the sound. While atleast you INCLUDED some audio, it was very poorly done. You need to keep the mic level to your mouth at all times. The volume of your voice kept going in and out, which leads me to believe you were moving around a lot while recording the dialogue.

It might get blammed, but I gave it a passing score for entry. You just need to improve on a few things (well, a lot of things) in future flash work.

Very nicely done

Not the most amazing use of animation or flash, but I really liked all the artwork done, and the mood that was set with all the different recreated sequences from the game. Not particulary interesting, or entertaining. But for what it is, I enjoyed it.

Made no sense at all

But was mildly amusing. I loved the drawings and animation. It was silly. The song also helped. ;)

Pointless, but a good quickie.

Nicely done

That was fun to watch. Not that I needed to be educated as such, but you did a good job making it funny considering it was ment as a demonstration, so it was also a great idea.

The only thing I didn't like about it was the voice of Lakitu. Not sure if it was you, or some friend, but his voice was too low and mumbled, and you could only slightly understand him at times, which also took away from the the humor a little bit. Obviously not enough to make it go sour though.

Magius responds:

Thanks. The voice of Lakitu was the person I worked with on the project. I animated the movie. You're right, sometimes the voice is a little low. That's why we have text boxes as well. =)

Not bad

Not bad. Visually it looked alright, and the "fights" looked pretty good. Just need to make it longer with more additions now.

Very funny

This is probably my favorite of your series so far. Very funny. The long wait was well worth it, so keep taking your time with these. Hopefully the next one is just as good, if not better. ;)

Don't touch me, I'm fragile.
